NewCastle

It was an amazing journey, although we did lack of proper planning & strategy which could have been more well organised, however when I am recollecting the day out in Newcastle, it brings a relaxing smile on my face, and why not? end of the day I have justified my role as an efficient planner. It was planned in the hounour of our very special guets from New York, Sahil. Sahil actually had flown all the way from new York to see his favourite cousin , Saurabh. Today, Saurabh is back to India to join his business, but we had some quality time throughout the 2008 which perhaps we will remeber throughout our life.

Newcastle has a reputation of being a fun-loving city with many bars, restaurants and night clubs. It consistently features in lists of the top ten party cities in the world. Recently, Newcastle has become popular as a destination for Stag and Hen parties.

The majority of clubs in Newcastle are located in three main areas. The oldest of these is the Bigg Market, followed by the trendy Quayside area, and the newest is "The Gate", which is a new indoor complex consisting of bars, upmarket clubs, restaurants and a 12-screen Odeon multiplex cinema.

I am going to remember our taxi driver, who took the immense pleasure to show his home town, and what could be greater then this, that the moment that taxi driver came to know that we are from India-- He waived off his waiting charges-because for this British guy- Sachin Tendulkar, is the next god after Jesus Christ. Truely Amazing.

Newcastle upon Tyne, often called just Newcastle, is a city in the county of Tyne and Wear in North East England. Newcastle is the main city in the North East of England, and around the sixth largest city in England. As such, it is one of England's core cities.
