NewCastle

It was an amazing journey, although we did lack of proper planning & strategy which could have been more well organised, however when I am recollecting the day out in Newcastle, it brings a relaxing smile on my face, and why not? end of the day I have justified my role as an efficient planner. It was planned in the hounour of our very special guets from New York, Sahil. Sahil actually had flown all the way from new York to see his favourite cousin , Saurabh. Today, Saurabh is back to India to join his business, but we had some quality time throughout the 2008 which perhaps we will remeber throughout our life.

Newcastle has a reputation of being a fun-loving city with many bars, restaurants and night clubs. It consistently features in lists of the top ten party cities in the world. Recently, Newcastle has become popular as a destination for Stag and Hen parties.

The majority of clubs in Newcastle are located in three main areas. The oldest of these is the Bigg Market, followed by the trendy Quayside area, and the newest is "The Gate", which is a new indoor complex consisting of bars, upmarket clubs, restaurants and a 12-screen Odeon multiplex cinema.

I am going to remember our taxi driver, who took the immense pleasure to show his home town, and what could be greater then this, that the moment that taxi driver came to know that we are from India-- He waived off his waiting charges-because for this British guy- Sachin Tendulkar, is the next god after Jesus Christ. Truely Amazing.

Newcastle upon Tyne, often called just Newcastle, is a city in the county of Tyne and Wear in North East England. Newcastle is the main city in the North East of England, and around the sixth largest city in England. As such, it is one of England's core cities.

My first country side Venture-" WINDERMERE"

England's largest and arguably, prettiest lake, more than ten miles long, and at it's deepest 220ft (65m) is situated in beautiful countryside at the southern end of The Lake District. Many of the best loved mountains are visible from the lake and it' s shores.

The town of Windermere in Cumbria, England is situated in The Lake District National Park ands lies 1kilometer from Lake Windermere, the town itself dosn't touch the lake, and is sometimes confused with the older town of Bowness On Windermere, over the years both towns have grown in population and are sometimes mistaken as one.

View of Millerground, WindermereThe town of Windermere has changed considerably over the past centaury or so, not only in it' s appearance but in name to. Windermere was once made up of three small hamlets called Birththwaite, Applethwaite and Heathwaite, the word ' thwaite' means a clearing in some trees, when the railway at Applethwaite arrived in 1857 bringing many wealthy mill owners from Lancashire, it was decided that visiting people to the area would recognise the location more if this small hamlet was renamed after the Lake (Windermere) so the three hamlets were renamed and became one. Most of the buildings in the Windermere location are of the Victorian era, and the town started to grow with the increase of visitors.

Windermere town is a fantastic place to base yourself if staying on holiday, with it's own rail link, bus terminals, you are never to far away from the mountains and lakes, but near to all major attractions.

Accommodation in the town is second to none, if you are looking for a lake view country house or a small b&b Windermere has all types of accommodation to suit your taste and budget. Windermere and surrounding area boast's some of the finest eating places in The Lake District, over the past few years Cumbria has become better known as the ' Taste District' and when you look at the stunning views, it will leave you in no doubt as to it's quality.

EARNING & LEARNING

Sometimes I wonder what is the real factor that keeps us pushing after career, and why do we keep running after things that at times takes lot more than we can imagine. I was wondering why I never felt the importance of learning from college, or from the jobs in Delhi but all of a sudden why I am so excited about the things that are happening when the distance are in miles with my near and dear ones.. It may be boring or may be unfortunate that I realised these things bit later of my life however I am excited so bare with my feelings.

My experience with HBOS organisational setups helped me to grow through the implementation of my individual talents ( I still at times doubt, if I have any)
With the little experience whatsoever I have gained till date in this country, I have realised that the things that I have learnt, I would not have bothered under the normal circumstances. It happened because of the interrelated compulsion such as money factor, I was answerable to my family, friends, and it was about the justification of trust that was shown by all of my friends and family members. It is not easy to leave everything behind and move on.
I will not touch on the phase of nightmares that have passed in past one year, but unfortunately the green grass, the blue sky, the pretty faces are still much more appreciable in movies rather than in reality, which provoked me for England. However, I must also appreciate the fact, that, had I not dare to move on, I might have not experienced it, and it is indeed a valuable learning for life time, even if it does not take me to a fancy job. I still don’t have certain answers for certain well wishers when I am bombarded with questions like, what is the amount I am going to earn now. What is the benefit I have got after coming to U.K.? I wish if only I knew... hahahahaha
I agree with one of my online friend who wrote something related to psychological impact on pagalguy.com that to begin with these issues, one needs to see the way most of our children are brought up in different family values. Children are compared to each other and thats done in such a way, it drives them to believe that certain things (like power, knowledge, etc.) are things that only a lucky few have and therefore ‘you show it in your actions that you are better than others’. This is so unfair. This is like spoiling that child’s future learning patterns and inter-personal relationships.
The problem that I had, was, the right after the objective, I always had to seek the best practices to ensure that I was following the standards already set by someone else.
My blogger friend from PAGAL GUY.COM, from whom I have inspired rightly, said that there is no harm to read what had happened, but only after I have made a skeleton of what can probably be my action plan (not following best practice blindly). Learning is something that can be the music everyone wants to play in their lives.
